How to improve starting up time of java on AS400

Hi
I have a java program which runs on AS400, some how
the it takes a lot of time(1 min) to start.
I submit this java program in a different subsystem
and then it is running all the time till we end it.

Once the java program is started it works very well, 
Some users are complaning about it, since the user who
uses it first has to wait for a long time for
response,

How do i improve the performance when it is submited,
and running for firs time, this is the CL command i am
using to submit it

 SBMJOB     CMD(QSH CMD('MyClass')) JOB('MyJoB') +  
              JOBQ(MAPSSBSQ) OUTQ(MAPSSBSOUT)
