If you want to take Excel data to the iSeries, use JDBC/ODBC. I think that's
kinda terrifying, but it's doable. I might take the approach of using JExcel
to get the data from the spreadsheet, then using some mechanism (depending
on data size and frequency) to get the data to the iSeries. FTP, JDBC, data
queues...got some options there.
