I have done this. It requires using the Digital Certificate Manager which is part of OS/400. It has a nice web interface. You don't say what problems you're having nor do you provide a stack trace. Have a look in the InfoCenter for info on DCM and you should be on the right track. You'll also need to install a Cryptographic Access Provider (5722-AC3).
