Folks:

I'm trying to figure out how to set the JVM version for a java udf that
is being invoked via SQL.

My first thought was to set 'java.version=1.4' in
/home/jdbc-connection-user/SystemDefault.properties, but that doesn't
seem to have worked.

If I set the java.version property in
/QIBM/UserData/Java400/SystemDefault.properties it works ... but I don't
want to make that kind of change on the system. I would prefer to have
the property set only for the user we are establishing the jdbc
connection with.

Should setting the property in SystemDefault.properties in the users
home directory work?

Thanks!

david
