Assuming this free DB2 supports DRDA (the chargeable one does), then
yes, you could do that. It would involve creating a trigger on the
source database that calls a trigger procedure that does a CONNECT TO
and then the appropriate INSERT or DELETE or whatever. There may be
commercial products out there that do this.
