Does anyone know if a Windows DB2 database (like this free one) can be synced up with an iSeries DB2 database ? e.g. define tables that when changed in one DB are automatically replicated in the other DB. We have a bunch of processes where we FTP data down from our iSeries to a windows server to be served up by IIS. We also have some IIS asp apps that collect data on forms that we then upload to the iSeries. DB syncs would eliminate both these processes. If DB2 databases can be synced I might be able to keep SQL server out of our shop, at least for inhouse developed applications >>> jshirah@xxxxxxxxxxxxx 1/31/2006 8:31 AM >>> Update: IBM Frees DB2 Express http://www.computerworld.com/databasetopics/data/software/story/0,10801,108192,00.html Joe Sam Joe Sam Shirah - http://www.conceptgo.com conceptGO - Consulting/Development/Outsourcing Java Filter Forum: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/ Just the JDBC FAQs: http://www.jguru.com/faq/JDBC Going International? http://www.jguru.com/faq/I18N Que Java400? http://www.jguru.com/faq/Java400
