I've got a java program running on a PC that is executing a command on the 400 using CommandCall. Sometimes, the QZRCSRVS job on the 400 fails when the command is over with a CPIAD07 diagnostic message that indicates that the "Host server error occurred with reason code 10". Reason code 10 is "Reallocation of server buffer failed. ". When this command is run, two different sets of code can execute depending on a system application configuration setting. Both sets of code are in different service programs. One set of code, the set that works fine, is invoking straight RPG (OPM) programs. The other, the failing set, is invoking RPG procedures (ILE) that does (among other things) TCP/IP communications. Our PC application fails with a "com.ibm.as400.access.ConnectionDroppedException: Connection was dropped unexpectedly." error. This seems to happen regardless of what OS level we run on (it's been tested on V4R3 and V5R1). A search of the APAR database & Google return little result. Any ideas what might be causing the CPIAD07?
