Calling pgm from multiple threads -- JAVA400-L

I have an app that needs to call a certain CL from 1 to many threads.
Currently, it displays the name passed to it to the user's message
queue.  So far, I only get 1 message from the first thread, I don't know
what happens to the other DSPMSG outputs.  I even put the cmd.run() call
in a synchronized block, still only 1 msg.  
 
Has anyone done this?
