Or if "connect" and "retrieve" can be interpreted as JDBC access, you would 
have to use a Paradox JDBC driver. Such things exist, according to this

/QNetWare will do it if you have the roght stuff installed on your iSeries, and 
your version of NetWare is appropriate. Check out

Otherwise, an FTP server running on the NetWare server would allow you to 
access it from the iSeries, or do it the other way and FTP the file from 
NetWare to iSeries. A Remote Command server would also work.

However, if you want to access the Paradox data itself, then you're enternig 
interesting territory. You would probably need to export the Paradox data to 
some format, and then bring it to the iSeries.
