My question was specific to that environment. I would like to programmatically process through as list of the queues, get the network printer information from Active Directory, mangle the name to the correct OS/400 standard, create the new device, update all workstations that pointed to the old output queue to point to the new device description and last update all user profiles that pointed to the old output queues to the new device description. I want to schedule it to run on my PC during off hours so eveything is moved over by the next day. I like your tools. I just have to go through hoops to be able to install anything on our AS/400 that didn't come from a vendor we can hang over the fire if it doesn't work or causes problems.
