Hi John,

You need an environment variable set for your *job or *sys level
Use ADDENVVAR command and enter QIBM_RPG_JAVA_PROPERTIES as variable name and
'-Djava.version=1.4;' as value.

Regards,
Alex Pinsky

Subject: Java version

I know that if I run a stand alone version of my java program it works just
fine and uses JAVA version 1.4 in the QSHELL. But the version that I
created where I call a method from RPG does not work. I know if I try to
run the stand alone version under JAVA 1.3 I get the same errors I get when
I try to run the RPG method call.

My question is how can I be sure what version is being used by the RPG
program when I call out to the JAVA method?
