RE: Compiling Java Program on AS/400

Do you have a specific need to compile the program on the iSeries (I can't
think of what that would be).  What I do is take the compiled classes from
my development environment and "deploy" them to the machine they are to run
on, whether that be an iSeries or Wintel machine.

If you MUST compile on the iSeries make sure that the jars needed by your
program are in the class path.

Hi:

I am trying to compile a java program with JDBC connection. I get an error
message stating it cannot find com.ibm.as400.access.as400JDBC.....

Can some help me direct as to what the problem is. I looked in the
QIBM/ProdData/HTTP/Public/jt400/com/ibm/as400/access folder on the as400 and
there is nothing in this folder. I would appreciate any help I can get.
