Ashish, I have used what is called the "thin" Oracle driver. You can find out more about that driver at otn.oracle.com. You should find it in a jar file called ojdbc14.jar (1.4 JDK) or classes12.jar (1.2 or 1.3 JDK). Or try: http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/java/sqlj_jdbc/htdocs/jdbc_faq.htm#02_08 David Morris >>> kulkarni_ash1312@xxxxxxxxx 05/04/05 3:11 PM >>> Hi I have a project where in i have to read some data from DB2 on AS400 and update oracle database, i have a java program running on AS400 which runs a stored procedure on DB2 and gets the resultset, i want a java program which will insert this resultset in orcale database, does any one have a sample code for creating JDBC connection from AS400 to oracle and insert records into it Ashish
