Ron, You can create the illusion of tabbed pages easily enough, I'm sure the old "my ebay" page on ebay used to look like that but they've changed it now. Bascially you just make graphical buttons which look like tabs and put them along the top of the page, and make each button jump to a URL which then redisplays the page with the new "tab" "in front". If you want it to not have to retrieve a new page when you click a different tab, you could make each tab a row in a named TBODY section in a large table - then you could use JavaScript to hide/show each section of the "table" as different tabs were clicked, which would then happen instantly (and is probably simpler to do than my first idea) but I don't know if you get into browser compatibility issues with this method, I've had trouble making rows dynamically show/hide in Netscape before. There may be a pre-done Struts or other control somewhere to do this - I haven't used this type of thing enough to know, maybe someone else will have some suggestions along these lines. Hope this helps, Nigel Gay, Computer Patent Annuities. |---------+------------------------------> | | RPower@xxxxxxxxxx | | | Sent by: | | | java400-l-bounces@m| | | idrange.com | | | | | | | | | 05/04/2005 11:12 AM| | | Please respond to | | | Java Programming on| | | and around the | | | iSeries / AS400 | | | | |---------+------------------------------> >--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | | | To: "Java Programming on and around the iSeries / AS400" <java400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> | | cc: | | Subject: Html Tabbed Pages | >--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Is it possible to create a tabbed page in html or javascript? I've searched the web, but I can't seem to find an answer. What I mean by a tabbed page, is like overlaying pages with tabs on the top.
