Hi Szabolcs, Are you sure the JDBC solution is too slow? By that I mean have you tried optimizing the process by changing the fetch size, using batch updates and so on? Prepared statements should almost always be preferred over a plain Statement. JDBC ( and its relatives in other languages ) are not optimal for mass data import/updates, but when you are dealing with two distinct RDBMS engines, other solutions are going to involve intermediate copies and program calls, so you may not see much performance difference.
