Well..there's FIFO queues and LIFO queues, and data queues can also be keyed. So you would need to know more about what type of queue is being used. I'm doing the same type of thing between Websphere Commerce and an iSeries but I'm using MQ Series. Same type of idea...and I'm using the MQ correlation id as a unique identified.
