Of course, not all java programs that either run on, or interface with, an AS/400 use the Toolbox. Our Wintouch and ThinView products, just to take one example (and this is NOT a plug!) have been using Java clients communicating with proprietary ILE servers since the Toolbox was in its infancy, and as a result, I've just started taking my first baby steps in using Toolbox classes. -- JHHL Touchtone Corporation
