Joe -- I'm not sure you need to use zoned decimal. The xxA in the prototype just tells RPG that this should be passed as a byte array. I think that once the compiler sees that the actual argument is a data structure, it will just pass that as a byte array. I haven't tried this so I could be wrong but it might be worth a shot.
