Thanks for the info. We're having Qshell interpreter installed in our AS400 machine now. Can everything be done from here (the QShell)? Creation of JAVA files and editing them as well? I did a search on Google and most sites seem to suggest ftp-ing the java files from a different system and then compiling them on the as400. This seems like a hassle and I'd rather do it straight from AS400 (even though I don't know the system so well). Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: java400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:java400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Bartell, Aaron L. Go to the command line and type STRQSH. You will now be in a unix/linux style prompt. Change your directory using CD /myjavadir/ and then try compiling your program again. But I can't seem to compile my own file. When I run "Javac" I get a "Command JAVAC in library *LIBL not found". > > Any suggestions? > > Thanks! > Liam Edward C.
