Thanks for your input. We had installed some PTFs and moved from JDK 1.2 to 1.3 and one of the PTFs did not get installed correctly. We re-applied the ptf and it works fine. Thanks again, Darren -----Original Message----- From: java400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:java400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of NGay@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, July 28, 2004 6:04 AM To: Java Programming on and around the iSeries / AS400 Subject: Re: runtime problem Darren, I'm not familiar with the SSLOptions class in particular - but the fact that you're getting NoSuchMethodErrors usually indicates that the version of jt400.jar you're compiling with in WDSC is different from the version of jt400.jar that your iSeries box is using to actually run the class. One version has this method, and the other doesn't. Did you change anything recently which stopped it from working - changed the program, new version of WDSC on your PC, new version of OS/400 or any Java-related PTFs installed on the iSeries? Try to find where the jt400.jar file is located on the iSeries. Unless you've intentionally moved this, its usually in: /QIBM/ProdData/Http/Public/jt400/lib/jt400.jar If you copy this from the iSeries to your PC (with iSeries Navigator, FTP, remote systems explorer in WDSC, etc. etc.) and then link to this copy in WSDC instead of the copy you're currently using, you should be able to see the problem at compile time and be able to fix it. Hope this helps, Nigel Gay, Computer Patent Annuities. |---------+------------------------------> | | "Pokrzywinski, | | | Darren" | | | <PokrzywD@wagnerspr| | | aytech.com> | | | Sent by: | | | java400-l-bounces@m| | | idrange.com | | | | | | | | | 27/07/2004 04:45 PM| | | Please respond to | | | Java Programming on| | | and around the | | | iSeries / AS400 | | | | |---------+------------------------------> >--------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------| | | | To: "'java400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx'" <java400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> | | cc: | | Subject: runtime problem | >--------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------| I am new to java programming. So I hope my question isn"t to trivial. I have a program that reads an IFS file, then does some updating to a database. This program worked up until last week. I wrote program in WDSC works fine in the development studio, moved the class to 400 gives this error any thoughts. Any help would be appreciated.
