I'm not Joe, but I do often ask conference attendees how many of them are using commitment control. In a room of 100 people about 5 or 6 would normally say they use it. On the rare occasion when about 15 people say they are using it I normally find that several of them are from the same shop. On those occasions when I have asked about journaling, the response level is higher - but still typically below the 25% mark. Scientific? No. But a fairly representative sample gained over a number of years. Scary? Yes - "but it is such a reliable system" Lately I find a lot of people using triggers to do what I would consider a journaling function.
