The answer is yes.
The com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCConnectionPool has a
setMaxUseTime(long maxUseTime) method inherited from the
ConnectionPool class:
"Sets the maximum amount of time a connection can be in use before it is
closed and returned to the pool. The default value is -1 indicating that
there is no limit.
Parameters:
maxUseTime - Number of milliseconds."
