AS400ConnectionPool and Activiation group

Hi
I have a web application where i use
AS400ConnectionPool   for pooling AS400 objects, I ran
into a problem today that one of the AS400 connection
had some files open even after returning the pool to
connection,
When are the files closed in AS400 connection open in
activiation group
How do i make sure that the files are not locked after
the connection is returned to pool, and also when the
connection is not returned
