Hi
what version of java are u running on AS400, if it is
jdk1.4 or higher then u dont need any other external
API 
Here is what i have in my project, I have a store
procedure which gives an resultset and then a java
program converts this resultset in XML file.
visit this site below and click on Browse button and
look for examples in following packages
javax.xml.parsers  
javax.xml.transform
javax.xml.transform.sax 
org.w3c.dom 
org.xml.sax
