RPG calling Java with Parms

Hi

 

I am trying to call Java from RPG with Parms.

The examples I have found so far always hard code the parm eg; 

 

Free
    args(1) = string('Test Value');
    main(args);
/End-Free

 

 

But I want to pass in a string variable!

 

Can someone please help?
