Thanks for the info Jim.  I believe most of our reports are *AFPDS, which is
one of our biggest issues at this point.

i have used Spool-a-matic from  http://www.gumbosoftware.com/
be aware it makes a difference if this is plain text spool (*scs)
or if *AFPDS or others
you may not see convert to .doc but to .rtf
