I have several users performing database operations (selects, adds and the like) via JDBC. Whenever a user does an operation the result of these operations are logged as being performed by the user who authenticated the connection. This means that if a pool of connections is to be used then the identity of the user that performed a certain operation will be lost, since all of the connections in the pool belong to the same user.

Can the identity of the user be changed, once a connection has been stablished?

Thanks in advance
Juan Pablo Morales
