Thanks Franco, Frances, Bryan & Jace for all of your help.

This is what I tried & what worked:

    SAVLICPGM & RSTLICPGM from old system - Still same error,
    CHKPRDOPT for 5722JV1 - returned all Ok,
    There were no PTF's awaiting IPL action but I done an IPL anyway with no 
change,

    RCLSTG - YES THIS FIXED IT

I didn't get as far as trying uninstalling and reinstalling SI06390 to rebuild 
the JVM runtime though.
