Mike, Duplicate Jar/Class files loaded by different class loaders can cause this. I would look at your common, shared, and WEB-INF lib and classes directories to see if there are any duplicates. Also make sure that any Jar files that duplicate server/lib jars are the same version. David Morris >>> msilvers@xxxxxxxxxxx 06/03/03 6:05 AM >>> All, I have been receiving a sporadic ClassCastException while using my Tomcat server. This is a weird error, because it is only occurring sporadically, and the lines of code that it occurs on run fine at some times, and throw this exception at other times. Has anyone run into the same issue? Any ideas? Thanks! Mike
