AS400 Object and CCSID problem

Hi,
We are calling RPGLE programs from Java using JT400,
We create an AS400 object and then use PCML to call a
RPGLE program, 
The problem we are having is, this RPGLE programs
access on table which has a field defined as Graphics,
So we get CPF4248 error, Which is basically due to the
CCSID, which is 835 for the graphics character and 37
for the AS400 object, 
so how do we tackle this problem
