Actually, the new announcement makes the interactive vs. batch question MORE important, if anything. That's because now, instead of having many levels of interactive feature available in each tier, it's either all or nothing, and the price for the "all" version is considerably higher than the price for the "nothing" version, at least from the prices we've seen bandied about the net. IBM could announce a completely different pricing scheme where the interactive feature was only, say, a 10% bump in price, at which point your remark would be exactly on target, but right now it's more like a 200%-400% premium.
