viewing spool file

hi, i've a problem on viewing spool file using java tool box.
is there any one could help me on this?
i try to view spool file residing in AS400 outq. i want to view it to the
web ( not a swing).
i've used SpoolFiled class to get InputStream and convert it to ascii form,
but it looks like the the class just can be used for printing purposes and
not for viewing.
If i try to view the spool format to console the outcome is undesirable
(messed), looks like there's strange chars and unknown end of line.

ps:i know there's SpoolFileViewer Class but it's swing, it done well i've
tested it. problem just i want the output not in swing but in stream.
