Chris, I really dig VAJ but IBM seems to favor Websphere studio (powered by eclipse). I'm still using VAJ but I have downloaded eclipse on my home PC. It even runs in Linux.... However, at this point in time, I prefer VAJ. IMHO, it' hard to go wrong with IBM.... (Of course, I never owned OS/2) dan -----Original Message----- From: Chris Proctor [mailto:cproctor@gartsports.com] Sent: Wednesday, September 18, 2002 2:44 PM To: 'Java400-l' Subject: VAJava??? See what you started, Chris? ;-) Anyway, we're going to be using Java for some of our applications in the not too distant future and I was wondering what the tool of choice is for Java developers on the AS/400. Originally, I thought VAJava because it's big blue's, but now I'm hearing stories that IBM may not support it in the future. This may be way off, and if it is I'd like to get some feedback on it. Thanks for your input.
