Hi all,

I have submitted a few days ago a problem, I encounter, when writing large
data-volumes, exceeding 2 GB, to an IFS-file.
I have now a similar problem, when checking the size of a file by the
method "File.length()"; The size is indicated correctly when smaller then 2
GB, but is always 2GB, when the file-size is higher then 2GB.

The answer, I got last time, was, that there may be an option in the JVM,
that I should check. I did some research in the iSeries-information-center,
but could nowhere find, how to check or set this type of JVM options.

Has anybody an idea, where to look for this.

Any help would be kindly appreciated.

Marc.
