Hi all, Thank you for the replies. Here is what I'm looking for ...
when the user initiates a proess from 400. It needs to call the Java program on 
PC and recieve the parms back on to 400. Any simple solution or examples to 
build the interface available ?
PS : I'm a pure 400 guy ! not an expert on windows based programming :)

Have you looked at Java's RMI support - RMI is Remote Method Invocation, i.e. 
you have a RMI server running on the PC, the 400 invokes the methods on the 
class(es) on the PC. Sounds just what you're after...
