-- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Hi all, Thank you for the replies. Here is what I'm looking for ... when the user initiates a proess from 400. It needs to call the Java program on PC and recieve the parms back on to 400. Any simple solution or examples to build the interface available ? PS : I'm a pure 400 guy ! not an expert on windows based programming :) TIA, Mun "Hall, Philip" wrote: > I've a java program on PC and can be called with parms. Have you looked at Java's RMI support - RMI is Remote Method Invocation, i.e. you have a RMI server running on the PC, the 400 invokes the methods on the class(es) on the PC. Sounds just what you're after... --phil _______________________________________________ This is the Java Programming on and around the iSeries / AS400 (JAVA400-L) mailing list To post a message email: JAVA400-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/java400-l or email: JAVA400-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/java400-l. --------------------------------- Do You Yahoo!?
