I see what you are trying to explain, but unfortunately,  this can't be
done with the application which is already running with 290 jobs ( might
call n number of programs). Thanks

What I mean is either in the RPG program, or the java program (just before
the call) insert a record in a file or database. Not actually log it. We
do this for "reports delivered" in another application of ours.--
