Mike,

This might be a situation where you should look into using inner classes. As I
understand it, you can have an outer "enclosing" class and declare two "inner"
classes. Each of the inner classes can extend a different abstract class, such
as the commercial classes you are using. I'm not an expert at this, but I
believe this (combined with interfaces) is how Java accomplishes multiple
inheritance.

Good luck
Ken

Lets try that again...it's not going to work. Both of the base classes are
abstract and need to be extended in order for variables to be accessed. Any
other ideas?

Mike
