Hmmm...  The *LOCAL entry is supposed to list the system name.  I take it
the database you are trying to access is the local machine.  Have you tried
using the system name instead of the IP address?  I'm grasping at straws
here.

I have an entry, but it lists the system name and not the IP address.  I
understand from other posts that if the driver is the native db2 driver
that
I need to refer to the configured name instead of the IP, but I am not
using
the db2 driver, i am using the "com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver".  The
problem is I don't know how to proceed next.
