There sure is documentation. Right in the WebSphere Application Server for iSeries documentation center. Go to http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/software/websphere/wsappserver/docs/as400v35std/docs/index.html and then take links Programming->Servlets->Internal Servlets Frances Stewart WebSphere Application Server for iSeries 400 IBM Rochester "Joe Pluta" <joepluta@PlutaBr To: <java400-l@midrange.com> others.com> cc: Sent by: Subject: RE: How to make JSP run in Websphere on iSeries? java400-l-admin@m idrange.com 03/27/02 03:20 PM Please respond to java400-l > From: Frances Stewart > > I think that if you haven't enabled the File Serving Servlet for your web > app, you will not be able to server *.html, gif, (static pages) without > adding a Pass statement to your HTTP Server configuration. Very cool, Frances. I had always wondered what the File Serving Enabler did, and now I know. I always used the Wizard to set up my web app, so I never really understood all of the pieces. I've also got Auto Invoker, which I assume is what allows my servlets to be served up by class name. Is there any documentation on what these individual servlets do, and what otehr ones might be available? It seems like there is an entire class of interesting things that could be done there.
