Blair,

Thank you for your help. I add my own host name and address in the host
table, and tested by ShowLocalHost.java program. the result is:
 OK:JZP4.MKCANADA.COM@10.20.2.28
 Java program completed

When I run my program, it established remote connection to my PC, but It
still generated Error:Application program has ended(RAWT5008030)

The Application-program at the Application Host is no longer responding.
Connection I/O error.

Does it try to find IP address for jZp4.mkcanada.com? can I only using IP
address to connect and avoid domain name? Set up DNS is beyond my ability.

Actually, my little project is to display help files in client' workstation
for our company's as/400 user. Because using DDS screen design is difficult
to maintain our user files. Because I have so little experience with both
as/400 and Java, using RAWT is only solution I can think about right now.
Is there any better way to do this?

Sincerely

Jie Zhao
