Shouldn't be any need for a copy.  Use the SQL "Create alias" command.

Syntax is something like:
create alias cujosql.nameit for cujolib.mytable (member)

Short answer is you cant. SQL does not understand multi-member files.

If you are running the SQL in the AS/400 you can fudge it by using an
OVRDBF
before invoking the SQL engine, but this wont work (as far as I know) when
using JDBC.

Copy the member into a single member file.
