I agree, it seems really strange to me that IBM does not support
remote debugging with -Xdebug.  Adding this feature would make it
easier for PC programmers to use the tools they are accustomed to
and increase the audience for Java on the iSeries.

Considering the open and ubiquitous nature of Java, I was really
surprised to learn that I can't just attach to the iSeries JVM using
NetBeans or JSwat etc. like I can to any PC running Java (regardless
of operating system).
