I'm trying to write some portable code. When being run on a separate box I
use the Toolbox JDBC driver to get at the data base, with some code like:

DriverManager.registerDriver(new com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver());

No problem. To run the same code on the AS/400, I should use the native
driver, as follows:
DriverManager.registerDriver(new com.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver());

However VAJ cannot find a definition of the native driver. I've looked
around, and there isn't one in the repository. How do I get round this? Do I
import the class directly from the AS/400? Or should I be doing "soft"
declarations (using class.forName) to get round the problem?

Chris.
