Xu, I decided to test your example. Here's my code:
DecimalFormat two = new DecimalFormat("0.00");
float n1, n2, n3;
n1 = 1.245F; n2 = 2.3237F; n3 = 1.118F;
n1 = Float.parseFloat(two.format(n1));
n2 = Float.parseFloat(two.format(n2));
n3 = Float.parseFloat(two.format(n3));
System.out.println("n1 = " + n1 + ", n2 = " + n2 + ", n3 = " + n3);
And here's my results:
n1 = 1.25, n2 = 2.32, n3 = 1.12
According to my test, DecimalFormat is rounding correctly. Do you get
different results than this?
Joe
