tim, It sounds like you are interested in a report generation tool more than a report delivery tool. One I have heard of is Jasper Reports. You can find out more at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/jasperreports/ I have no experience with this package so I can't vouch for its quality. As someone else mentioned, Cocoon is a very good report delivery tool. You still have to build and structure your data, but once you do Cocoon offers quite a few delivery options. You would probably be most interested in PDF delivery, which Cocoon does quite well. Some limitations of the technology are the memory usage and you have to be pretty fluent in XML and XSLT. The memory challenge can be minimized by returning short reports. Also, you can minimize memory usage by building reports as they are processed. There are some bugs in the latest version of FOP (I think it is 20.2) that make this more of a challenge.
