PC2 & Glenn, The good old strdbg command is way behind the debugging capabilities of the integrated VisualAge debugger, IBM's remote debugger, or NetBeans. I think you will be very disappointed in the interface. I use the remote debugger when VisualAge's built in debugger will not work. I have not used NetBeans to attach to the AS/400's JVM so I do not know if it is possible, but I did work with someone who used it quite a bit to remotely debug servlets running on Sun's JDK on W2K so it might be possible. Can someone give some links on how to do remote debugging from another machine? We are using NetBeans, which can use both 1.1 and JPDA debugger, can I attach to a Java program running on the '400 from my PC?
