Not to start a flame war, but... we dumped VAJava for NetBeans because
of the lack of Linux support, and have been very happy ever since (runs
great on Windows, too).  The newly open-sourced Database Explorer Module
works with databases on an iSeries, and Toolbox objects can be imported
into the tools palette with the right icon and everything.  It's a lot
easier to work with, and you can imagine how much money it saved us!
