You have only exported the .class files. When you import, if the .java files are missing from the jar file you get this result. What i use to do when i am in a situation like yours: 1) Version the project in the shared repository 2) Change repository to local 3) in the repository explorer i do: File -> Import -> From another repository Then search for the shared repository and import the project you just versionned. Do the opposite when you are back Gilles -----Original Message----- From: MWalter@hanoverwire.com [mailto:MWalter@hanoverwire.com] Sent: lundi, 27. août 2001 15:05 To: java400-l@midrange.com Subject: Exporting and Importing Hello all, I use VAJAVA Professional 3.5. I needed to work on a project from home over the weekend. I exported the project on Friday from my work desktop. I then burned the exported project to a CD. I tried to import the project into my laptop. The project imported fine, but when I tried to open a class to the VCE. There were no beans on the canvas. Is there a procedure that I screwed up or what? FWIW, the desktop is NT 4.0 and the laptop is W2k. Both VAJAVA versions and service packs are current.
