When you have exported your files you must have forgotten to export the
.java files.
You have only exported the .class files.
When you import, if the .java files are missing from the jar file you get
this result.

What i use to do when i am in a situation like yours:

1) Version the project in the shared repository
2) Change repository to local
3) in the repository explorer i do:
File -> Import -> From another repository
Then search for the shared repository and import the project you
just versionned.

Do the opposite when you are back

Subject: Exporting and Importing

Hello all,

I use VAJAVA Professional 3.5. I needed to work on a project from home over
the weekend. I exported the project on Friday from my work desktop. I then
burned the exported project to a CD. I tried to import the project into my
laptop. The project imported fine, but when I tried to open a class to the
VCE. There were no beans on the canvas. Is there a procedure that I screwed
up or what? FWIW, the desktop is NT 4.0 and the laptop is W2k. Both VAJAVA
versions and service packs are current.

Thanks,

Mark
