Have you followed the instructions in the documentation which include making QEJBSVR the group profile for the user profile you want to run under, and using operations navigator to register the user profile you want to run under with the security function? See http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/software/websphere/wsappserver/docs/as400v302std/docs/secasobj.html Frances Stewart WebSphere Application Server for iSeries 400 IBM Rochester mandy.shaw@Notability.com@midrange.com on 06/29/2001 09:33:17 AM Please respond to JAVA400-L@midrange.com Sent by: owner-java400-l@midrange.com To: java400-l@midrange.com cc: peter.lancaster@Notability.com Subject: WAS 3.0.2 - running under non-default user profiles - authorities Has anyone successfully got a Web Application Server with a non-default *usrprf to serve up anything *without* putting *ALLOBJ special authority on the user profile? Everything apparently relevant in the IFS has public *RX authority, we tried the audit journal *AUTFAIL option which produced absolutely no joy (says there's an authorisation failure, but not what on!). All hints gratefully accepted.
